302 into a 88 ranger

i'm about to get my hands on a 5.0L fuel injected out of a 83 mustang with it's tranny. will it fit into my 88 ranger (that had a 2.9L fuel injected) with out any trouble or will i have to get a body lift or more?

Yes it can be done..... look on the teck library under V8 convesion you will find an answer at all your questions....
