302 in my ranger

i have a 87 ranger with the stock 4 cylinder and 5 speed. would a 302 out of an 87 bronco be a straight foward bolt in swap?

are the two vehicles the same drivetrain, either both 4wd or both 2wd

You need to change the oilpan to a Fox body pan. You'll also need an oil filter relocation kit, Mustang convertible mounts and a set of early 289 log manifolds or conversion headers. You'll also need a V8 trans (C4, C6, AOD, M5R2, T5 or ZF). That's the short list.
