just curious remember reading somewhere they changed the balance for certain years, so im wondering if my 91 flywheel for a AOD is balanced right for it,

28 oz balance stopped somewhere in the late 70's i think. its been awhile so dont quote me on that. everything else from then on is 50 oz. but if all your worried about is a flywheel, you can get those cheap in any balance anyway

Points dizzy, should be pre 1975. Look for the block casting number on the side of the block above the oil pan rail on the starter area. Get a number from the intake too. Loof for an ID tag under the dist hold down bolt for pre 1970, and a valve cover sticker for 70 and older.

28/50 split was '80 older and 81 and newer.

if it is pre-75 could it be a 289 instead of a 302 as he has listed?

its a late 60s 302, that supposidly had a fresh rebuilt before the car was flipped,

know my ?, has an alternator, so im good there, but im wondering, if i get this motor will anything transfer from my 91 motor, such as the E7 heads(or are late 60 heads better), thinking about buying this motor, slapping a new flexplate on and installing my serpintine setup(if i can, may have to get a new balancer) and running her carb, just to get my B2 running,

gonna look at it saterday,

the exhaust manifolds look like those of a maverick or comet.
