probably more trouble than its worth. you will have to swap the pedals over, and not sure if your years need the computers swapped or not.. I think that the auto in 93 and 94 is still the A4LD... but if it is the newer 55r5e, the computer will be looking for an automatic transmission and will pop your check engine light. (not the world come to an end scenario, but can be annoying).
You will also need to disable the column shift linkage, along with the neutral safety switch and those will not be needed, and you will need to cut a hole in the floor for your new shifter.
why do you want to swap out? is the 4.0 blown? If so, I would search out a used 4.0 and be done with it.
