I was helping my cousin replace the fuel filter on his Blazer yesterday and we drove to town to get the new one and I stopped to talk to a friend.. turned my truck off, and up until then the truck was running just fine..
So we get done talking and I go to start it back up and it turns over fine, but won't start.. Hmm, So I pull it off to the side check all the fuses, pull the intake hose off, give it a couple squirts of starting fluid then try again.. still nothing. pull number one cylinder plug and see that it isn't getting any spark.. So I pulled off the wire from the coil to the distributor and check the output on the coil (it read ~12.5 volts although I don't know if that is normal or not).. So I am just guessing it may be the ignition module on the bottom of the distributor, but I noticed a row of what looked like relays on my driver side inner fender, are those all ignition related?
And I checked continuity through the coil wire and it seemed fine.
Any help would be appreciated as to where any other ignition related relays are located
