Why spend $170+ for a catback when you can make it yourself! It only took me about 45 minutes to build and slap on. I do not have a tube bender, that cost me $5 to have it bent at a local shop. The metal and muffler was $25!

Not bad for a novice. :icon_welder:

$30:icon_surprised: Thats way too much. I used one off a truck I junked. Cost -$:D

thanks for the idea bro, i'm going to do something like this on my truck, but with a dual outlet muffler, and 2 pipes coming out side-by-side with some nice slash cut tips...

I did my exhaust like this during thanksgiving weekend. The body of the muffler was a bit long and I wanted it to do them at an angle so I had to move it up about 8 inches (just under the hanger after the cat). I used a 90 and a 45 to get the right angle and I welded it the bottle of the leaf spring shackle. Not bad, I just wish it didn't look so odd, like it's angled waaay up from the front in the 2nd pic. I just need to cut it back an inch or so and level out the tip.
