my vote is #2 for reasons already stated.

as for the rifle, ditch the light, the laser, and the pistol grip, they're just extra weight hanging from the upper receiver. I'd also ditch the rds, if you can't hit a target at 300 yards on iron sights you don't need to own a rifle.

*edit* not only is the pistol grip extra weight hanging on the upper receiver, using it will put your arms in an unnatural and unstable position. remember, the tighter you can keep your hands and arms to your body, the more stable your grip will be.
