Number 2 won't budge past 2800. I made him an offer of 2500 due to mileage of the truck, the drive time to get there and the fact it needs a clutch, but he isn't budging so I doubt 2 will happen unless he changes his mind.
3 said he'd be fine with sending it to a shop for a complete check over to make sure everything on it is fine. Truck 3 is a 4.0. But still weary of 3 non the less.
Found an 89 4.0 4x4 Ranger for 1200,but it has a few rust spots and I can't do body work. Bah!
Keep in mind truck 2 needs a clutch......thats at least 150 in parts and thats the cheap advance auto parts kit....plus a whole lot of headache getting the Y-pipe bolts off. See if you can talk him down some.
are you sure its an 89? i thought 90's were the first year of the 4.0 but i may be wrong

what are the specs on the rifle? is that an aimpoint and a surefire? free float handguard or snap-on piece? custom trigger or milspec? who made it? i DO NOT see a 2500 dollar ar-15 there... you do know that you can step into a basic M4 for 700-750? add an aimpoint w/ mount for 4-450, trigger for 130, hogue grip and upgrade the stock for another 150 and you are done for 14-1500 depending on what components you pick, or you could spend 2-2200 when you start adding lights and lasers and can openers, keep in mind that the beauty of the ar-15 is that it is light, once you put a rail, flashlight and a dual mag rig you are looking at a 11-12.5lb rifle, my ar-15 weighs in at about 8lbs, making it much easier to carry...
if you want i can pm you the information to my gunshop that i shop at, great deals, builds custom one-off guns, if you can think it up he can build it, usually for cheaper too...right now is a great time to get into an ar-15, they have never been cheaper than they are right now..
