3 truck decision!

2 Cause the first one probably has a 3.0 I hate mine under powered
3rd has a body lift ew

Get number 4! :yahoo:

Seriously though, truck 2 looks the best. #1 has some possibilities, and #3 looks like it was owned by a retard who couldn't be bothered to proofread his post. Plus, with truck 2, you get a 4.0L V6. The others do not specify the engine, so assume it's not a 4.0L.

ya stay away from the truck with the a4ld tranny mine was went out twice once when my grandparents had it and it had no miles off road they were all high way miles and then i just lost the tranny in it saturday after playing in a 50 foot mud pit i put 11 miles on it before i smoked the tranny and cought the truck on fire lucky i save the truck except for the wireing so my advice is replaceing a clutch is way better the a complete tranny and wireing harrnes the harrnes alone is $1000 so get truck 2

Number 2 won't budge past 2800. I made him an offer of 2500 due to mileage of the truck, the drive time to get there and the fact it needs a clutch, but he isn't budging so I doubt 2 will happen unless he changes his mind.

3 said he'd be fine with sending it to a shop for a complete check over to make sure everything on it is fine. Truck 3 is a 4.0. But still weary of 3 non the less.

Found an 89 4.0 4x4 Ranger for 1200,but it has a few rust spots and I can't do body work. Bah!

are you sure its an 89? i thought 90's were the first year of the 4.0 but i may be wrong

Keep in mind truck 2 needs a clutch......thats at least 150 in parts and thats the cheap advance auto parts kit....plus a whole lot of headache getting the Y-pipe bolts off. See if you can talk him down some.

Y pipe isnt very hard to remove, just a little time consuming, and you may need skinny arms

youre correct. maybe it was a swap or the guy just got the year wrong. but how is that even possible when it says it right on the title lmao

He corrected that in an email to a what he says is a 2.9 lol

Well got an email back today from the guy with truck number 2. He emailed me and said he thought about it and agreed to sell it for $2500. Guess my email telling him unless he'd take 2500 I wasn't interested did work.

what are the specs on the rifle? is that an aimpoint and a surefire? free float handguard or snap-on piece? custom trigger or milspec? who made it? i DO NOT see a 2500 dollar ar-15 there... you do know that you can step into a basic M4 for 700-750? add an aimpoint w/ mount for 4-450, trigger for 130, hogue grip and upgrade the stock for another 150 and you are done for 14-1500 depending on what components you pick, or you could spend 2-2200 when you start adding lights and lasers and can openers, keep in mind that the beauty of the ar-15 is that it is light, once you put a rail, flashlight and a dual mag rig you are looking at a 11-12.5lb rifle, my ar-15 weighs in at about 8lbs, making it much easier to carry...

if you want i can pm you the information to my gunshop that i shop at, great deals, builds custom one-off guns, if you can think it up he can build it, usually for cheaper too...right now is a great time to get into an ar-15, they have never been cheaper than they are right now..

Never said the AR was $2500 lol. I was referring to a truck on page 1

The AR in the picture is only $1100 ( that is with everything you see on it ).. It's a 5.56 with a with a 1x9 twist and snap on hand rails with milspec trigger and 6 POS collapsible stock. I used M4's while in the army. My buddy has the same AR and I've fired it many times. That is why I might get it.

truck #2, just do the work and have the golden 4.0/5 speed/d35/8.8 combo!

and why do y'all hate on the a4ld so much??? i've beat mine with no problems! i've had better luck with my a4ld than guys i know with newer rangers with auto's (44r4 and the 55r5 or whatever they are)

my words for you, and everyone else... i've ran 2 a4ld's (88 b2 and 93 ex, both in my b2), and i've never had an issue...it's been a very good setup for me
