For you guys that have done it how long did it take you? How hard was it on a scale of 1 to 10. I’m considering getting one to lift my ranger up a little and put some 31x10.50 or maybe even some 33s. Its going to be on a 2000 4x4 5spd.

well, from your info sounds like we have the same truck. same year same engine same tranny and all. i dont have a lift on mine, although im getting one, but i am already running 31x10.5 and im having no issues. no rub no nothing. when i get my lift im going to run 33x12.5. but if your lifting it just for 31s, there is no need.

you can run 33's on stock suspension with the torsion cranked a little. i have 33-10.5-16 and dont rub

it doesnt look goofy with 31s and no lift? I always thought that if I put 31x10.5 on with no lift it would look wierd. well do the 31s give the truck a little higher stance??

the FX4's came stock with 31x10.50's on them. It'll looks just fine.

hmmmm....I might just do that instead of going through the hassle of lifting

I think they should all come w/ 31" (:icon_thumby:) Seriously though, they make the truck sit like an angry bull dog. I like it 100x better than stock.

+1 mine is a 98 so this should give you a pretty good idea of how it would look with a slight t bar crank and 31s (31s with a 3'' bl would look goofy) IMO they fit perfect and they dont rub either, they fit very nicely in the rear fender at full stuff

shit...i had 35's on mine with just the bodylift...

scale of 1 to 10....if your mechanically inclined, i'd get it a 3. it's super easy just very time consuming.

i did mine a month ago and it went smooth sailin..... except for the lack of labeling on "kit parts".

I have been very happy overall with going that route..

I have 33x10.5x15s with no rub AT ALL and am considering 35s

DO IT! you will not regret it

Just put my 31/10.50's on today :-) Also no lift, not even cranked torsion bars, at least yet. I definitely like these 100x better than stock! Totally looks good with the wider tire and fill the wheel wells a little.

Nice WNY. Are those factory wheels? I don't believe I've seen ones like those...unless its just different at the side angle..
