ok yea i can see getting away with the shifter cause it just be lower but the steering i think that it would be need but he said there is enough room where its not idk ???

on my 2000 it isn't necessary because the steering column telescopes.

Yes, and the answer is, - it depends, on my 92 with 3" BL it had a steering shaft with ragjoints in it, (big rubber washers) and I didn't have a shaft extension, it wouldn't fit.
Went to the junkyard, got a steering shaft from a BroncoII with 2 little ujoints instead, that one fit perfect, no extension.

On my 91, when I got the kit it had an extension, but when I went to put it on, found my truck had a shaft with 2 ujoints, slid it up and bolted it on, works perfect.

And the shifter, liked it better on my 92 without an extension, seems lower and easier, seems like a shorter throw too.

Still got the extension from my 91, you can have if you wanna pay shipping, but I'd just look at it and go get a longer ujoint shaft if you need it, I think they turn better with that and will last longer anyway.........

i got it to work fine without any extensions at all thanks tho guys
