im installing a 3" body lift on my 93 splash, is this going to be a nightmare or what? im assuming its a pain in the butt... any input?

It should be dead easy so long as all your bolts come out with ease.

Just take your time, and you should be golden.

It is best with a friend or two for safety's sake and in case you have to lift something from both ends at the same time (the bed). I had two friends help with the bed and that was so easy. Just take your time and read the instructions well and watch out for the gas filler and the brake lines. Make sure you get no kinks anywhere....and double check your work before you tighten everything down.

USE PB BLASTER FOR A WEEK EVERYDAY ON EVERY BOLT!!! i did mine by myself... was pretty easy.

ok awesome, thanks! i cant wait to get it done. ill post pics afterwards

the bed bolts tend to come out much easier than the cab bolts, especially the very front ones. they seem to rust and corrode pretty bad for some reason. you may have to drill them out and replace them with slightly larger grade 8 bolts of the correct length. good luck with your mods!

do you have to extend anything for a 3" body lift? or is it just a bolt in and go deal?

u need to extend the gas filler, steering column and an extension for the shifter if its a manual

I didn't touch the gas filler, it actually works better now than it did before.

My kit came with the steering extension.

I had to make the extension for the 4x4 lever.

I had to extend the filler as there is noo way it would have fit. The extensions come in the PA kit as well as everything else. I would suggest you pre loosen everything first, so you have a good idea what will give you trouble. I did alot of pre work, but I still broke a bed bolt and a front cab bolt.

what about the brake lines? the lift does'nt effect them?

Well, on my model year I had to remove all the brake lines from their mounts on the drivers side shock tower and from the drivers side frame rail. There is enough slack in the lines after to move the three inches.
