3.73 gears and 235/75/15

Should I follow this: http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/announcement.php?f=16 and go with the 3.73 gears even though 235/75/15 are 28in tall? Will this also keep my speedo correct as well? I have a 17 tooth speedo gear with 3.08 gears and 225/70/14's for my stock setup.

235 75 15 tires are 29" tall, but 3.73 gears are a good match if not a little on the low side (the tach on my explorer is screwy), way better than the 3.08's you have now.

I don't know what color speedo gear I have right now in the explorer but it reads right on, can check it later.

i have 235/75/15 bfg at ko and their 30". i have 3.55 gears and my speedo is 1 km too slow.

235/75 will work fine with 3.73 gears.
its like a 29" tire. even 30"s will run fine with 3.73 gears
