I just found this forum and am looking forward to picking your brains about service and minor up grades on my recently purchased 2001 Ranger XL base model pickup .

I'm in the general Los Angeles basin .

Trying to figure out how to post pictures of my l

ittle trucklet .

Thank you ~ I stumbled across it at a charity donated cars place, 117,000 miles, one owner, been sitting, everything works, even the AC blows ice cold so I jumped on it, it didn't *quite* look this nice, let's see if I can post a picture of it the day I bought it, Friday the thirteenth .

I drove it home and didn't even get to wash it before Sunday the 16th when a crazed guy ran into it in the 7-11 parking lot as I was parked .

Then he jumped out goose stepping like Mussolini and waving his arms, yelling "!? did you see that ?! he hit me !" to the assorted druggies and dopers .

I was parked when he rammed me with his headlights off .

Go figure .

Of course, he had no insurance, my ins. co's best offer was to pay for the truck and no total on the title .

It broke me ($!) to get it fixed but I did and am slowly up fixing it .

Only the door, driver's fender and hood/roof are new paint ~ the rest I hand polished then waxed .

Looks happy & cheerful .

The guy was a dead beat, driving a banged up Nissan Maxima with dents just purchased from a BHPH lot and the insurance it had only covered his jalopy ~ that's not legal in my state so I'm looking at lawyer action now .

Not going to waste a moment on him , broke @$$ M-F'er .

Forget about vigilante anything ~ that's movie B.S. not connected to reality unless you want to go back to prison .

I suppose I coulda whacked him with my cane while I was yelling at him for scaring me to death..... .
