3.0 V6 Heads

What heads can I put on a 1992 V6 3.0 Ranger. Looking for more power and performance.

They get pricey quick... it may sound like a broken record but you can do a 302 swap for less money than it would take to build up a Vulcan. The 5.0 would be more powerful, too. Toss in a decent cam and some good headers and you'd be set.

Tom Morana shows a set for $1600. They are nice looking heads. But I would also need the better intake at least the 60 millimeter throtle boday and better exhaust. I am not familiar with the quality of Morana's parts. I have never used any of them.
I like the sound of the 302. If I used the complete engine and transmission got the complete wiring harness and computer along with the motor mount brackets. What kind of issues would i get into under the hood for room. I can get a complete engine out of a mustang and what model would be best to look at?

My primary problem is I don't know enough about what parts will interchange which vehicles have them. Building any of it is the easy part for me. Just finding out where I can find what will interchange. I don't have some of the access to Ford info I used to have.
