Im thinking of doing a 5 speed swap to my 94 and was wondering if anyone has already done this and if it was worth it? Also is there a big difference in a 5 speed 3.0 and an auto with gas mileage and acceleration?

Yes it's been done.
The manual definitely makes driving more involved, which makes the truck FEEL faster, but I doubt there'd be a large enough difference in acceleration to really notice anywhere but a timeslip.
Mileage should go up a bit.

speed not really much difference, but unless you want to change transmissions every 80-120k miles at best go for the 5-speed, way more reliable, and as for mpg's, and every auto ranger i've ever had got 18 highway, my 5 speeds all 20+
