3.0 to 4.0 swap I need some help with the wiring

I have a 2003 ranger 3.0 flex fuel and I got a 2001 explorer 4.0 doner I have the 4.0 engine all mounted in the truck now but I’m trying to figure out the wiring I left the engine harness on the 4.0 and have the PCM that goes to that engine in the truck I also pulled the key and key tumbler from the explorer and put it in the ranger so the key works I just need some help with the wiring from the engine to the truck at the square plug there seems to b more wires on the 2001 4.0 plug than there is on the 2003 ranger plug side any help would b awesome if someone out there has any experience with this swap

Are you referring to the 42 pin connector?

But wiring is, of course, specific to year and model

Best bet is to find an EVTM(electric vacuum troubleshooting manual) for each year and model.
Ford sends these out each year for each model to all Ford dealers, its part of the "shop set"

People sell them after using them and you can do the same, buy it use it and resell it

Often listed as Wiring diagrams, so google: 2003 ford ranger wiring diagram ebay

2000 or 2002 "might" be the same as 2001, but may also be different, so get specific year
