3.0 ticking noise

Have 2001 ranger w/3.0 that ticks constantly.All lifters were replaced,oil pressure is great,was told valve train was solid,use 5-20 oil,still it ticks.Noise lessens when accelerating,gets worse when I let my foot off gas pedal.Ticks when warm or cold,gets worse when shifting from drive into neutral.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine ticks too, but I know my passenger exhaust manifold is leaking... not sure how quickly I should get on remedying that though...

My truck was parked because of the tick. Then I bought it and have put 10k on it since. I don't even notice the tick anymore unless I listen for it.
