I used Autolight plugs and "Xact" plug wires and now my truck runs terrible. I gapped the plugs to about .042. I pulled one wire from the distributor at a time when I was replacing them. I'm at wits end. It ran relatively smooth before the tune up.

If you look on the coil pack, it is marked with the plug wire location. They are almost laid out just like the engine (123,456) but I think it is 123, 465 or it is 132, 456. Anyway it is marked on the coil pack. Double check all the connections and what codes are you getting??

Retrace your steps more than likely you will find a plug wire or two crossed, passenger side cylinders are 1,3,5 drivers side is 2,4,6, front to back. other things to consider is did you crack the porcelain on any of the new plugs while installing them or maybe you knocked off a vacuum line.
