3.0 no start

ok heres the deal decided to service my 02 3.0 changed oil the other day now went to spark plugs changed them then changed wires cranked engin, ran kinda ruff. so i figured i maybe just messed up the firing order so i called it a night (1am) went out this morning grabed the repair manuel and checked the order switched them to how the book says (alot out of order even thought i did one at a time exactly how they were) tryed to crank it. Nothing, sounded bad bad bad when trying to turn over. so i made sure all wires were on good tryed again nothing, then got out my spare coil replaced it (the fire order on the motor craft coil did not match the book so i switched them back to wut the coil said, NOTHING!) no codes are coming up, im out of ideas need input asap guys.

is the spark plug gap set right?

well i was using the screamin demon coil so the gap is a littel bigger i gapped at .050 i think the gap for the coil is up to .060 or so. but why would it run rought one time then not at all the next

so what was the problem ? I noticed on my ranger after replacing my passenger side head mine seemed to misfire and goin throw the hayne's manual AND seeing someone else's setup i was let scratching my head.. ended up being plug wires plugged in wrong so go figure.. i've unfortunately had another head with cracks and had a friend replace it (labor) and the firing order is still off.. just curious if that was your scenario or what you found out to fix your problem.
