A number of 3.0s have a heater bypass modification installed by the dealership.
The upper fitting is in the heater hose connection right before the thermostat. The bypass hose then connects to the lower radiator hose connection going to the water pump.
Does anybody have any part numbers for the couplings? I've been able to get a plastic one that works for the top but have been unable to locate the lower one.
The lower one's dimensions are 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 5/8. Went to a dealership and they haven't come up with anything.
Thanks.

Are you looking for the plastic fitting on the lower radiator hose? The one that looks like a collar around the hose? If so, then that fitting doesn't detach, it is made into the lower rad hose. I just had to replace mine, but the new one I got was designed different where it was a removable fitting.

Actually that might be what I want.

Mine is a metal fitting (tee) that has a 5/8 connection on it. A hose connects to the 5/8 connection and goes up topside to another tee in the heater hose circuit.
What you are talking about might be the replacement for what I've got.
Do you have a part number or link?
Thanks.
