i know the plugs go 1-6 passenger side to drivers side from the front.what is the order on the coil pack passenger to driver side .1998 3.0 ranger.thank tim

Coil packs are done in Matched Pairs
On a V6 engine 1/5, 2/6 and 3/4 are the Matched pairs

1 2 3
5 6 4

3 4
2 6
1 5

2 and 6 will ALWAYS be on the center two

The 1/5 and 3/4 ends depends on where the connector is
Seen here: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/5Vcojw0DL3A/sddefault.jpg

Usually the end closest to connector is 3/4 so 1/5 is the other end

There are only 3 coils in these coil packs, so you can hook it up as 1/5 or 5/1
5 2 3
1 6 4
or
5 2 4
1 6 3
Doesn't matter

2/6 in the center then 1/5 and 3/4 at the ends

This is what I was going by from online.is it the same as what you sent me?
