2wd vs 4xd susp...

ok guys... i have a 91 ranger ext cab with the 4.0... it has the normal saggy front springs... i put on some custom wheels... with the outset of my wheels my camber issue is more noticable and and starting to eat at the inside of my tires.... i also need a little lift because the body and sidewall of my tires like each other..

my question is what is the difference between the 2&4wds that make the 4wd taller and what makes the B2 taller yet... i am hoping to be able to swap in the front coils to acheive a little lift and chamber correction... are the coils different lengths?

The springs are all the same length. They used different spring buckets between 2 and 4wd. All BIIs are 4wd based. The 2wd BIIs used a gutted 4wd front end.
Moog cargo coils are available for a reasonable price at just about any parts store. You also need to carefully inspect the spring buckets for cracks/rust holes. You also need to check the ball joints for play.

i just learned all the coils are the same length from another source also... but he also said on the 2wd f-150 91-94 there is a spacer between the coil ttb that will fit the ranger and give about 2" of lift...

Yes, you could use spacers from F-150's, also, you could use the Poly spacers or stacked washers. I reccomend the washers, as you can adjust how much lift you are getting. The Poly's tend to break down and 'sag'.

well this is kinda unrelated but i just installed a 44 series flowmaster with 2 1/4 and turns out right before the passenger raer tire... oh.. and 2 days ago painted my truck sun yellow...
