I have a 95 ranger supercab 4wd and i was wondering if a 1996 supercab 2wd frame will work?

My intentions are to use it for my SAS project. From what I hear you can use some bolt holes on the 4wd frames to align brackets for the SAS. But I would also like to know if it can be used as a direct swap.

Not a solid axle guy,but I think i have read that the 2wd frame is the preferd frame for a SAS.not as much motor crossmember to get in the way.

But the "body" of the truck will bolt on, no problem. 93-97 frame will bolt on interchange.

will pre 92 ranger frames work with the 93-97?

i believe the mounting points are different. at the very least u will have to redrill some holes.i think you will have to fabricate some brackets to to fit the newer body on the old frame. Anything is possible with some ambition and a welder.:icon_cheers:
