So, I think I'm right I'm just checking here first... If I have a Explorer or BII 2wd, and I wanted to convert it to 4wd all I need is the t-case, front shaft, and 4wd beams correct?

BUT, if I have a 2wd Ranger I need to swap out the front cross member along with everything else, correct?

Reason is, I found a 2wd Explorer Sport I would like to buy, if it is easily converted to 4wd, and after searching for a while, I couldn't really find any definitive answers about it...

you are correct on the bII and the ranger, but the explorer i am not sure

Almost correct, the passenger beam pivot bracket needs to be changed for a 4wd one at least on B2s, not sure about explorers.

they are, the ranger is the special one,

You are correct. The passenger side beam bracket on the Explorers has to be changed as well.
