2wd to 4wd help

i am looking to buy a 93 explorer 4x4. i have a 96 ranger 3.0 2wd. will the front axel of the explorer be able to bolt up to the frame of my ranger or will there be any mods made to the frame. also would i be able to use the transmission and the transfercase and the drive shafts. is that what i should do or just do sas. i also need to know what transfercase to use and will it bolt up to my 3.0L tranny

This swap requires swapping engine cross-members as well, so a SAS would be easier.
