I have a 08 b2300 2wd that i would like to level out or do a suspension lift. Ive done all the research and traveling around 4wd shops for products altough there seems to be nothing on the market for suspension systems.

Maybe if any one has any advice on a home fabricated strut spacer below two inches in order to not mess up factory geomoetry than they could give me a reply.

Thanks

You truck has a coil spring with a shock that is run inside of it, its not a strut.

so it is a shock in a coil spring? not a coilover shock

so do you think a standard spacer should fit in w/o interfering with the shock?

Whether or not the coil is or isn't attached has nothing to do with it being a shock or a strut. That differentiation belongs to the fact that a strut supports not only suspension movement, but also suspension geometry.

Many vehicles use a coil-over strut, particularly smaller fwd cars. Ranger's don't have a coil-over anything.

And yes, they are shocks. :D

I'm not sure if that answers your original question or not though.

thanks, although now im confused on how to go about leveling my truck
