Has anybody here built a bolt on front skid plate (aluminium) for a lifted 2wd with a bl? I have been looking for one for some time now. Not too may fabricators near me. Most are about an hour away and need the truck for a few days. Don't want to that. I have a 99 ranger Supercab with 5 inch suspension lift and 3 inch bl running 33x12.5's. I have seen a few of the prerunner places that make them but they are not realy for my suspension lift and they want way too much money for something I need to still get fabrication work to run it. Any ideas???

naw, dixon bros racing makes em but not for a bl. i have looked before and not much selection and those a retarded expensive. your best bet is to make it your self or adapt one from a taco or yeep

Nah...I will just get rid of my Ranger than, lol. There are so many older Rangers on the road and I am so sick and tired of seeing everything made and ready to bolt on for 4wd and 2wd Nissan's, Toyota's, GM and F series trucks even with a bl for crying out loud!!!. Nothing for the Ranger guys!!! There are not enough REAL FABRICATORS in out world anymore. Just pure laziness!!!!

I'll build it if you send me the measurements and cover shipping...I'm in Nebraska...Or just PM me and I'll give you my # and you give me a call and I'll tell you exactly how to do it...Not all of us are lazy...Problem I have is there is not enough demand for this type of stuff in my area :) always happy to help out a fellow Ranger owner tho...

You ROCK, Bro. I do wish you were close by. I want this light bar:

This is another thing that pops my thinker.....Nothing for the Rangers....everything for other trucks and SUV's.....Ahhhhhhhh.

Do you think you can build this? I will find a photo of my front end and show you were I would lie to bolt it to. It would go right above the lower valance area where the spacing between the bumper and valance are. Let me get a photo of the area for you.

Piece of cake! Maybe about 2-3 hours to build and prep to paint max...You don't have to build it out of anything terribly heavy so probably wouldn't cost a whole lot to ship it plus I wouldn't charge you to build it...all you would have to cover is materials and shipping...I could easily build that for less than $50 using all new steel so if it could be shipped for even $50, you'de still be way ahead of the game...I agree with ya' tho, it's all about fullsize and suv's...I dig the small pickups, I'm partial to Rangers and Toyotas...I'm actually in the process of getting my own business going so I would do this as a favor and maybe one day you could refer someone else in my direction...Lemme know your specs and if you wanna do it or not...Thanks for your time,
