Do the edge 2wd trucks get the same suspension set up as the 4wd's? Because after looking at all the different kits, all i can find it all these kits for 2wd's and then it says "except edge model" im thinking just a 3" suspension for that desert runner look with some larger tires and baja rims. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

yes, EDGE models have the same torsion bar suspension setup as 4WD Rangers.

yay. sweet now i can find the right kit for my truck. anybody have any recommendations? and do the kits usually include the struts? and if not any recomendations on those? I have access to a car lift and all the air tools i'll need. so i'll be doing this myself with the help of my boss.

okay im looking at the fabtech 3" spindle lift
but i cant find a price on that site? and my edge came with the 16" wheels. Am i going to HAVE to buy new wheels? if so i'll just get me some of those 10 flat black american racing baja wheels. I know they have those in a 15" for sure. and do i have to worry about the rotors? what size are the rotors for an edge 10.25 or 11.25?

he already has 2" blocks on the rear susp. i think only way to lift the rear is larger blocks or shackles.for the wheels. check the minimum backspace the spindles need and check the backspacing your rims have.

never done that before. how do i go about finding the backspacing of my wheels?

the tech library has a table for that i think. check what back spacing the spindles need and look for rims having that backspacing, if u are replacing rims.

is anyone running the fabtech 3" spindle lift? if so, what size tires? and pics so i can see the stance of the truck. thanks

Fabtech states 3.75" BS MAXIMUM. I am thinking that mean 3.75 or lower numerically is ok. Not higher like 4.5. I run 15" wheels with 3.5" BS.

I called Fabtech to ask if I could run 16" wheels with 4" backspacing and they I should be able to "but they have not tested it". They couldn't tell me if the backspacing limitation was because wheel would hit the spindle or fenders or possibly rub torsion bars or something like that.

Here's my '03 Edge. Fabtech spindles front, no torsion crank, and some fender trimming. Rear is just add a leaf. 15x10 wheels with 3.5" BS.

anyone with this lift running the 16 in" wheel? and what is this "torsion crank" i keep hearing of? i've never done anything with lifts...

any have this lift with these wheels?????
