does anyone know if there is a lift for the 2wd Bronco II or does anyone know if the 2wd ranger lift will work

All B2's had the 4x4 ranger engine crossmember, so if you get lift brackets, like the ones on TRS, get em for a 4x4 :icon_thumby:

he he...no such thing as a 2wd b2.....just b2's that got raped at the factory:shok:

yeah that never made too much sense to me. included a "dummy" case...they arent free, so that would be an even smaller savings over going with 4wd then if they did it with a 2wd tailhousing. shoulda just made em all 4wd like jeeps

Jeeps?

Not all Jeeps were 4x4. Friend of mine had a 2wd YJ. Why? I have no idea.

all civiliain jeeps up until the jk's were 4wd only. if he had a 2wd yj, someone swapped in a xj front dummy axle and 2wd trans. that was jeeps main selling point. thats why up until the tj's there werent much for styling looks(inside or out) they wanted to stay as much on the theme of the original m38's and civilian cj2a,cj3a,etc. alot of people dont know but the earlier jeeps had pto's to run farm implements as well

...however. the dj5 postal jeeps and yj postal jeeps were 2wd, tj's as well, BUT with proof of being a postal delivery drive. but there were some exceptions back in 55 they had some 2wd's pretty much a 2wd cj3a (called dj3a after deliveery/dispatch jeep), and some other special editions. but mostly all were 4wd. BUT 4wd was standard, and the special 2wd was an option

94 YJ bought new 2wd. Not postal, not special order, walked into the local dealership and drove off in it.

Back to the original question asked. Yes indeed get the 4-wheel lift kit. The only "issue" is that the 2-wheel drive BIIs had a differetnt drop braket than the 4-wheel drive but with putting in a lift kit that bracket is repalced and installing a D35 at that time is a piece of cake, and better to boot. I just replaced my D28 with a D35 and LOVE it!!!
