2WD BII beams or Explorer beams?

I've read here: http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64650 that BII beams or Explorer beams can be used for some lift. This idea sounds very delicious to me. I was taking a look at some exploded views of all three vehicles' front suspensions. The Explorer seems to have very similar components to the Ranger. My questions is: which one would be easier to fit on a Ranger either with minimal fabrication or none?

well you might want to look into some spacers and blocks before you do the beam conversion cause fab work will be required. how high do you wanna go?

Like 2in. I was thinking the beams because I've always wanted an Edge or Trailhead style truck but couldn't afford one or can't find one. And I know about the poly, delrlin, and aluminum spacers as well as washers and factory F150 spacers. I'm just trying to open up my options. But if there is a lot of fab work involved with the beam swap, then I just might go with some other option.

I haven't done the beams but even in his post he says that it will require messin with the pivots. if you only want 2in it will be cheaper and easier for spacers or f150 coils. I believe 4x4s of that year are 3in higher. so coils would work well but it will make the ride alittle stiffer
