So I've got an '84 2wd and I want to put a rough country 4" lift on it which means I've got some questions

1) Can I run 31" tires with 4" of lift on a '84 2wd? currently the tires are like 27" (215/75/14)

2) Stupid question, i can run 31 x 10.50 on 15 x 10 wheels right?

3) are 15 x 10 inch wheels gonna rub more than 15 x 8s?

4) Other than the lift kit, what do I need, steering extension? brake lines?

any help would be appreciated, I have done some searching before hand

Thanks,
Brian

1) Yes
2) I believe so
3) They wont rub but I believe that you would need to keep more air in the tire for different reasons
4) I will let someone else answer.

15x10 rims are to wide for a 10.50 tires, unless it a drag car.IMO your rims lip will sit on the outside of the bead.

you would be better off with the 15x8's or even 15x7's

you will need, to get a alighmnet, that could also mean new ecentric cams also known as camber bushings.

a drop pitman arm

ext. brake lines

longer shocks if the kit dont come with them

trucks old so possibly new bushings, in both the radius arms, and the Ibeams.

thanks guys and I found some nice 15x8 alloys so I'm not gonna get steel 15x10s anymore but are the camber bushings something I have to mess with or is that something I would have the shop doing the alignment do?

Thanks,
Brian

If the alignment is way out, you may want to put the camber bushings in to get it to the shop (if you can), or they can put them in for you.
