2wd 4.0

is there a such thing as a 4.0 in a 2wd stock? i dont want to swap my 3.0 and would rather build it if not.

i cant seem to find any 4.0 2wd rangers around here and have never seen one.

absolutely, i believe Ford put most of them in super-cab models. personnaly i owned a 1990 s-cab 2wd, and have seen several since. rare to have one in a reg cab. do not have numbers to back up my statements, just my own observations.

i have a 94 xl reg cab 4.0 and ive seen many of them around my area in s.illinois

sure,i gotta 94 ranger 2wd xlt with tons of mods with auto tranny and gets 20-23 mpg
