2WD 3 inch Suspension lift for CHEAP

Can't wait to see the results! So far your build is looking really good. You've helped me understand my suspension far more than any other person and you explain things really well. Thanks for all the info, updates, pics, and build process.

There's nothing wrong with doing a coil spacer. The coil spring in your truck is held in with a washer and nut that is attached to a bolt in the i-beam. The coil spacer would bolt right in under the spring and will be securely fastened underneath the coil spring. The only thing you would have to worry about is the coil spring falling out if you install shocks that allow that much travel. But you can solve that by using a "j-hook" to secure the coil spring to the coil tower. If you want more than a couple inches of lift, you can choose from several companies to lift your truck. They would include Skyjacker, Rough Country, Superlift, Autofab, Camburg, Doetsch Tech and a few more. See this: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/2wdlifts.html for more. There's plenty of suspension lifts, you just aren't looking hard enough.

coil spacers need to be ductile iron or steel no resi or alum as pictured.

if you ever plan to take your truck down a dirt road or want to jump a speed bump never install lift spindles, your snout will snap and your wheel will pass you pulling into mcdonalds. you also gain no extra travel and lose good down travel as all there doing if forcing the suspension down which brings the front up.

lift blocks increase axle wrap and dont aid in flex or travel.

ive gotten an additional 3 inches of flex from swapping my blocks and shocks.

meaning the top of my tire is now at the bottom of my body pannel.
