2WD 3 inch Suspension lift for CHEAP

I added a 3 inch doestche spindle 2 inch doestche spacers up front and expo 4-door leaf with belted 6400 shackles/ 4x4 2 inch lift blocks in rear.

this week I'm putting in the 31 spline 8.8 expo rear with 4.88/ 35's KM2's 12.50/ 15.8 pro comps and a 3inch PA bodylift.

will post pics when done.

nice! be prepared to work hard on the body lift. took me and 2 other guys about 9 hours on my friends 08 ranger

Speaking of body lifts, how did you lift the cab off the frame? Disconnect all the wiring and use a crane or what?

Undo all clips, watch the radiator isn't sitting in it's pads, unclip a ton of stuff and we used a 4x4 and a motorcycle lift. Lifting is the easy part. Connections is the impossible part.

Oh, almost forgot. Just installed a set of Rancho RS5000 shocks. Rides real rough. LOVE IT. :) pics up tomorrow. Took about 15 min for both.

Gotta love the rough rides! I'm going to invest in a suspension seat before I decide to do anything hardcore.

i lifted my cab with a big jack and some wood blocks. one side at a time. it was easy since mine is a reg cab

That sounds like a genious idea! Mine might be more problematic since it's an access cab. Now, considering body lifts, who has the best ratings out there? I know Superlift isn't too highly thought of, but what about Zone Offroad or the generic ones like from Summit Racing?

I've heard that they aren't too good either. People keep giving them bad reviews. Maybe I'll try Zone Offroad when I get the money. People have been saying they are pretty good.

weird, just put one on my buddys truck and another is going on another truck this weekend. ive only heard good things about these body lifts. id say they are #1 in the market. :dunno:

be careful, because if u dont sit the cab back properly u can end up with rattling or stuck doors.

my pass side door rattles a bit on the door latch now :annoyed:

I love rattling trucks!!!:icon_hornsup: It shows that they're built, not bought. Sticking doors I'm not too fond of though. But hey, If some people have the Superlift on and some have the Performance Accessories, I'll do the Zone Offroad kit and see how it turns out. Who knows, it might be the best, it might be a pos but we'll never know 'til we try!

4" rough country lift with 4" blocks-$450
3" performance accessories bl - $100

7" lift - $550

Rough Country doesn't make anything for '98 and up. I think I'll check out doing what XLT is doing and doing lift blocks and 4WD shocks and a levelling kit.

so far, i got my lift blocks for $20, my u bolts for $60 new from ford, my rancho shocks for 3 inch lift from napa for $160 new, and i found lift spindles for 400. coil spacers and generic shocks would save you a ton, but im just gonna pop for some spindles and shocks. :icon_bounceblue:
