2nd gear issue

As you read, I have a problem with my second gear. I can shift up to it fine, its downshifting that's the problem. You can't just shove it in like the other gears, I have to be going 35mph or slower and I have to apply constant pressure before it falls in. Do you guys think its a clutch problem or the gear itself. I was thinking its the gear. Thanks

you're going way to fast....

to downshift at that speed friend. try 20 or less or you'll be doing a transmission very soon.

I'm thinking syncro's, shifter rail or shift fork, since that is my problem also, but I know the PO was a bang shifter and was into brute force.
