Just a thought, I have a chance to buy a 24V Warn 18,000 lb. to put on my new bumper for my ranger. How do I hook up a 2 batterie system tw run winch in parrallel 24V but my truck in series 12V? I've heard of it on a bronco but didn't ask how it was done. Thanks in advance for any input.:icon_confused:

There is no reason to run an 18k lb winch on any RBV, so don't even worry about. An 8k lb winch is all that is needed, and if you really want go to a 9500.

I imagine it would be rather complicated to set it up so the extra battery could be charged with your 12v alternator. If it were me, I'd look for a smaller one, as walstrom1 suggested.

If you figure out a good way to do it, let us know.
