how durable is the ford 2300/2500 engine. has any gone over 300,000
with one
 
several around here have gone over 300k with them.

they're near bullet proof if taken care of
 
My '90 Mustang 2.3 has 200k+ & sees the rev limiter almost daily. Shows no signs of giving up soon. Not even an oil leak. I pulled apart an '87 2.3Turbo with about 150k & could still see crosshatching in all cylinders. Impressive little beasts IMO.
 
Im with BLS2.3 on this one. def immpressive for what they are... we race mini stock in NC and the engine is bullet proof. Our race engines have seen up to 9800 rpms with ease. The 2.5 is just a stroked version capable of the same torture. lol
