Would it make any difference putting 21 lb injectors in my 4.0? The stock ones are 19 lb I think???

I pulled a knocking 4.6 from an 01 F-150 on friday at work, and it has the pink 21 lb injectors in it.

My intake is ported and I have a 2.5" exhaust, My O2s do read a little on the lean side above 3500rpm. And I do realize they won't do much without a re-tune, but under WOT the ECU just dumps fuel anyways, why not a little more?

They question is, Is putting slightly bigger (free) injectors in my truck worth my 20 minutes?

Provided you don't melt something or have the engine ping lean is good.

Rich is "safe" but actually makes less power.

He is saying it being a bit on the lean side is good as long as its not pinging.

I don't think you will see any improvement at all, it might actually be worse.
