21/2 ton ranger

Yeah, because that's obviously a trail truck

It's for trails with huge mud pits and gigantic rocks, so the 54 inches of bogger can easily roll over 'em. :icon_thumby:

That truck would be fun in a lake, but it's not at home on the trail, What did those tires set you back man? 600$ a piece?

I wanna see some muddin' pics!!

Hey take it easy guys, no where in his post did he say anything about trail riding. Obviously he is from Florida and has a TGW sticker on the tailgate, leaf sprung and radiator mounted in the bed, and 54" Boggers, you pretty much gotta know what he's doing with it.

This a mud truck only rig, and yes it is tall but, I think it is porportioned right, it is not towering those tires, I think it looks just right for 54's. I mean come awn any full bodied rig with 54"s is gonna be tall.
The only thing I see wrong with it is the lift blocks, and not that its dangerous for what he does, but for the fact that it adds so much leverage to the leafsprings that axle wrap looks like it would be pretty high, since there are not any traction bars. If I were to do anything to it, it would be lose the blocks and maybe 4 link it with coilovers or coils, but hey I am a rock crawler so what do I know. lol

Give the guy a break, he did not come here trying to be a bad ass, in all of your posts he has not yet replied back being a jerk, I thouhgt a lot of you guys on here liked mud and mud trucks. I personally hate mud but I can respect a decent built rig no matter what its used for, except blinging show trucks, standing 40' in the air.

I personally would like to see a little more about this rig, and would like to see some action shots or video.

ive seen the truck go while fiming trucks gone wild b4, the jersey crew always takes a ride down to florida for mudfest, im just sitting out this year, got a evil creation brewing togo to a later one

Lets see that thing run over a honda civic or something! I'm with punisher, got any build photos, or at least some bogging vids?

to big for the wheeling i do as well, i wouldn't mind seeing it in a drag or something but i definately wouldn't own it. Maybe if he had it lowered a little more with the rockwells, something around Punisher's height then it might be practical for me. I dunno i'm not a fan of huge tires in general, i like having a stout rig, I think the biggest i'd run for tires is 36''

I would love to see more pictures.
Punisher
It is hard to see in those pictures but I think the white tubing is his traction bars.

Man, That thing is sick... :headbang: i have never seen a ranger on 54'' boggers before. I think you guys are out to lunch.. Sure i would never drive it on the street.. but anywhere offroad id be ALL over it! Thats proboly one of the baddest rangers on this site. SO what if he cant go threw all the "tight" trails you guys go threw hed STILL drive right over your rig..:3gears: itwould be wicked in the mud. lol id love to see you guys try follow him around... :haha:

that is soo awesome, id drive that thing anywhere, take out a few priuses that is my new goal for my project ranger. just a t56 tranny instead, id love to see some vids too and a lot more info.

I'm sure it is a blast to drive. Your truck is built for the terrian you have, mud. As most of our are built for trails. There is a guy a few miles from me with a FS Bronco built pretty much idential to your Ranger. He wonders why myself and many others think he is a moron, the truck is out of place for the location. I'm working on a truck similar to Punisher's but a Ranger. Next time you're out wheeling get some pics and maybe a video for use to check out. Have fun.

Matt

+1

I wouldn't build something that big, but I still think it's kinda cool. Impressive in size at least. I would drive it through some mud if given the chance though. :woot:

+1 different trucks are built for different things and this one is pretty obvious. need some action shots!
