@JohnnyO, Do we have a final count on who’s coming this week?

I just checked the weather for Carlisle at the end of the week. Looks like rain on Wednesday, but clear Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the day. Right now they’re saying showers late Friday, like 8 PM, into early Saturday morning, like 2 AM. If that holds, we should be good for show days..

I did locate a good spare tire in the tire pile for the Road Ranger, I have to go to get it swapped onto the rim. And I found a good tire on a 14 inch bullet hole wheel for the spare on the trailer. I’ll mount that today too.

I still have to wiggle some wires on the CB to figure out why I’m getting an intermittent antenna fail indication.

The only big dirty thing, I want to trim up the corners of the frame of the trailer tongue down by the “5th wheel,” to see if I can get rid of the last little bit of scuffing when I turn when and I’m rolling over a hump. Then it’s touch up the paint a little, and pack the tools.

I’m hoping to leave Wednesday, and arrive Thursday (total of 10-11 hours). I’m figuring if I allow extra time, the chances of me having a problem or almost nonexistent. If I leave just on time, or late like I’ve done in the past, I’m sure something will act up. Keeping my fingers crossed and my prayers going to avoid that.

@snoranger are you in and can you bring a table? I think you did once before. I have one but a second would be nice. I have another one but it doesn't fold and it might be too long to fit in my truck.
Regardless of the count this year I think that having a tent will boost the count for next year.

I have gone totally brain dead

I have gone totally around the bend in to Looney Tunes land

I was frustrated that I didn’t get everything done, and I was going to pack this morning to get into the truck to go to Carlisle. Only one problem with my plan:

THE SHOW ISN’T THIS WEEKEND!

So it turns out I’ve got another week to get the little things done.

I need a keeper.
