My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
So...

Any interest in doing the calendar thing again for next year? I'm willing to do it. I feel like this year's project went pretty well and the results were great. I learned a few things along the way and I can give more specific guidelines concerning size and resolution of photo submissions to hopefully alleviate any questions about that.

If we do it again, do you want to do it like last year, where people submit photos and then we vote on them? Or would you prefer to just submit photos and I put them together more like what I did with the "Rangers In Action" calendar?

We could do a theme. But I think it should be a theme that everyone could participate in, whether you have a RWD, 4x4, lowrider, race truck, etc. Or we could do themed pages with multiple pictures per page, such as "most mismatched body panels", "Cleanest engine compartment", "Best engine mods", "Most original 1st gen" or things like that.

Let me know what you think. If there is enough interest, I'll post the guidelines in a week or so and we can get started.

Furthermore, If you did not get a 2021 calendar, (wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend, kids, etc. didn't give you one for Christmas) they are still available.

First, my appreciation for putting forth the effort. Thanks for that.

My only thought is that contrasts are fun: biggest/smallest, clean/dirty, stock/over built, maybe low & high mileage.

Im game, just ordered another calander myself on monday. Excellent work Eric!

Maybe a mix of action photos and member submissions? Both were nice work. It also depends on how the sales for this year calendar goes too. Which sells more or not enough?

I like how we did it last year.

Could come up with a couple different categories, then have people submit pictures for each category, then do a poll for each one. Most miles, rustiest, best work truck, low rider, drag truck, mud truck.

I bought the regular calendar to use at work, and I think it's a really nice calendar as is. The large size and the spiral binding should work good for me.

I'd like to see a 22 calendar, you did a great job on this year's. I'd personally leave off the dirty trucks but a variety of styles and builds would be good. I worked at a dealer during the entire lifespan of the first Rangers so I've seen plenty of new ones but I still like to look at nice original or restored trucks as well as modified ones that show good workmanship. If it makes more work to have separate votes for different categories just do it the same way as this year and thank you for making the effort.

There won’t be any furnace, basement pictures, or pickle bucket pictures will there? That might drive down sales...

Could be a page for "best shitposting on the forum" ;)
