2020 Ranger Check Engine Light EVAP Syatem

Every time I fill up the check engine light illuminates whether I top off or not. As fuel burns the light extinguishes. Sensor problem?

You need to get the codes pulled to see what you are dealing with. A evap code is a good guess, but you need to know exactly what it is.

While it doesn't seem to be a common thing on the Ranger, it could be the flapper for the fill hose. That design has been known to leak but it saves the vehicle manufacturers money, so they keep using it instead of a regular gas cap.
