2019 ford ranger remote start

I need some answers I have 2019 ford ranger xlt it has the ford pass remote start capability and I went into the bcm and enabled the remote start well my key fob doesn't have a remote start button I was going to get one cut and programmed but I'm not shore if it will work my factory key sends a 320 mhz signal to the truck but the remote start key sends a 902 mhz signal can I still use the remote start key on my truck

Try this

On the fob press the Lock button once and then the X2 button TWICE and engine should start remotely
Hit X2 twice again to shut it off

The Ford Pass app for iphone or android should have remote start as well

Yes but what I wanted to know is if I have a factory key and it has 3 buttons on it with no 2x but I want to get a key with the 2x and program it to the truck can I do 5hat because the key have two different mhz frequencies

Then Ford's Remote Start is not installed, it was a $500 option on new vehicle

You need to leave "remote start" enabled, this disables transponder check, until vehicle is unlocked or put into gear

So if I enabled the remote start feature on the display and went in to the bcm and enabled the remote start feature through there I can't just cut and program a key fob with remote start and it work

No, as far as I know it needs the remote start module, those setting are there primarily to disable remote start if you have the module

Sorry for the dumb question, I am new to the forum, how does the remote start work from the app if there is not module installed? Is there something in Sync that triggers the remote start from a phone?

You need to have or install a module of some sort to have remote start
Remote start is an option, but can come as standard feature on some models

Some 2017 and up Ford Models came with Fordpass APP compatibility, these all had Remote start which could be used from the smartphone APP as far as I know
But this is model specific stuff so you just have to check, usually by VIN
SYNC doesn't mean Fordpass APP will work, it might, just have to check
SYNC was discontinued in 2016
