2014 Focus engine bay full of snow!

So Missouri is being hammered by Gia. There's already 8 inches of snow where I'm at and is supposed to continue snowing until tomorrow night. On my way home from work, there was a wreck so I took a gravel road that hasn't been plowed or driven on yet. The snow was above the bottom of my bumper, I was basically plowing a couple inches off the top because this car is so low. As I was driving, my heater fan slowed down significantly and my headlights dimmed. I stopped and then everything went back to normal and didn't do it again as I kept driving. My first thought was the belt slipping from being wet, and I hope I am right because alternators aren't cheap. I stopped when I got to the 3 way and opened the hood to find snow and water covering everything. I got on the highway and got on it a little bit and the belt squealed just once but that's about it. It's running fine other than the issues above that went away. Right now I'm sitting in my driveway letting it idle hoping to dry it up before I go in and it refreezes overnight. Is there anything I should check specifically in the morning? Should I be worried? Thanks.

clean it out with a broom handle.....sometimes you have to stop and clean out the wheel wells depending on conditions or you wont be able to steer well or barely at all...driving on the lake in winter with a small car that happens quite a bit when conditions allow..

I let it idle for an hour until everything was dry. This morning I took it for a gooddrive just to make sure everything worked, which was kinda stupid because the roads are even worse. Everything was fine and the engine bay is dry. I'm just worried about water damage that I haven't noticed yet.

Ive done the same thing drift busting with an old 1.9L escort i had.

I wouldnt worry. Snow wont make it past the air filter and even if it did, what little bit of moisture in the engine wouldnt last long.

The electronics are sealed good. And on something that new you shouldnt have any bare wires or cracked connectors.
