I had heard that Ford is doing a partial run of them.
Ordering info is out. You want one, order right now. Only thing someone mentioned is that they dropped the 7.5 rear end. That's about the only thing.

I just came from the Ford dealer and they showed me the ordering booklet, and yes the 7.5 rear axle is the only thing that has been dropped. Everything else remains unchanged for the 2011 MY.

is this going to be a mid year change over? any one know i want a new truck but waiting for the new body style?

I think Ford is just using up inventory on the 2010 as far as bodies and such. Think one other thing that got dropped (sad to see) is the four door option. Lots less of mix and match what you want. I wouldn't care if the existing body style stayed around for another 10 years, give us what we want, a diesel sounds like the one most would want or the true crew cab. That 911 Porche body has been around longer than most of you have been alive.

Hi, anyone here have a blog regarding the Test Drive / First Impression of the 2011 model?

I prefer non-editorial blogs as based on experience, co-forumers blogs / general blogs are un-biased and bares faults and can express their thoughts.

Thanks.

umm there is no 2011 ranger they are stoppping production after all the 2010 parts are gone

New Ranger

MMRanger, what would you like to know? The 2011 is the same as the 2010. I got my 2010 a couple months ago, got out of a Frontier, son has a Taco, and I had a 05 Colorado. Have covered them all.

The 2010 Ranger, with the addition of 4 wheel disc brakes, side airbags, and stability control has put itself right with all the others. The XLT package is a bargain IMO, cloth seating, fog lights, leather wrapped steering wheel, carpet and floormats, P/W, PDL, P/M, keyless entry, RWL tires, CD/Sirius radio W/Aux input, CC W/steering mounted controls, etc......and what you can get um for($)

Be glad to give ya any comparisons or info I can......

sorta true l454s... acording to that car and driver page, there is a limited slip option which was not an option in 2010... i know because i asked for it on my 2010 but they said it was dropped... i am guessing it is because of the 4 wheel abs/traction control system... they don't want you spinning tires ...:sad::dunno::dunno::annoyed::annoyed: which sux because i like lighting them up..:headbang::headbang:. i must say thought trac. and rear disc make it hard to do sometimes

That isn't it. Other vehicles still have it (can't get a Mustang without it) and the rest of the truck line is even getting real lockers.
