2011 Mustang

I like that idea.

Either that or call it the Stallion. Because it'd be a truck with BALLS then!

Maybe even off it with saddle leather seats (a King Ranch edition, maybe?)

I'd say Pinto, but that'd idea would blow up. :icon_rofl:

Maybe the Ranger Pony? What about the "Quarterhorse" edition Ranger? Complete with hoofprint floormats!

why not put all the performance parts in the ranger and gave it a rank promotion, this truck has been at ranger for years! (lol)

Well we could always drop it from a plabe and have an "Airborn Ranger." :insert rimshot here:

Muscle car or Sports car? How about a sporty muscle car! They do road race tham as well as Lincolns and Cadalics but don't think I'd call them sports cars. The Mustang actually is just a little bit under rated in HP, closer to 435. Dyno's show 385-395 rwhp, that's above any Ford Muscle cars rating except for the 427 Fairlane (barring the blown GT-500 and other specials). Does that getting 2 1/2 times better mileage. Ford designed it with the intent of adding direct injection in the future when needed. Stock off the showroom floor at 13 secs in the 1/4 in not bad. Watch for them in your local JY soon!

Well, looks like Ford just can't leave well enough alone. They have announced that the "Boss" will be back, probably in 2012, maybe pushing 450 hp. They've been running the motor in a road race series for some good real world testing. This just is getting crazy with the HP they can get. Those with a SC just need a pulley swap and a retune and gain 50+ hp, not having to get into the motor at all or even swap to headers.

Apparently when they go into production it doesn't mean they are actually building the car. First they mark down parts for the vehicle, that is all they did the day before yesterday. Yesterday they must have put it together, and they just posted the basic car completed first thing this morning and it is waiting at the second assembly line right now.

So right now his car is finally a car and just a pile of parts in a warehouse. I wish they would stick a disposable camara in the car and take a picture at each stage... :icon_idea:

It is now completly done and awaiting shipment. Due here the first week of June.

Now he is having it out with the sales dept about only him driving it. He doesn't like the idea of them seeing what the new 5.0 will do with his car... and they don't like the idea of not being able to play with it first.

They have to drive it to make sure everything is right. The liability of not checking it out is too high.

The techs predeliver the cars at the dealership, not the salesmen.

He is a tech... and has predelivered quite a few cars.

Oh. I didn't know he bought it from his own employer. And i know the salesman don't PDI cars. Of course, they also won't need your bro's to see what it can do. They will surely have more than one Mustang.

It is a smaller dealership, the one the dealer ordered is a ways down on the list. They don't get them by the truckload like the joints in Omaha.
