I just installed a very nice Android double din radio in my 2011 Ranger 4X4 XLT Supercab. Now I have a rear view camera to install. My question is how do you get the wire front the back end of truck up into the cab. Is there is a rubber grommet somewhere? Or do I have to drill a whole and put in a grommet?

There will be grommets in the firewall somewhere I would imagine.

Parking brake cable usually has a grommet where it goes into the cab

Did you hook up a Reverse wire to radio?
Or did you wire camera's power on to Reverse light wire in the rear

I just did this on my Nissan. I followed a loom from the tail lights, along the frame and into the firewall. Not sure what year your rig is but my 01 has plenty of accesses into the cab

Thanks everyone! Haven't installed yet. Will hookup camera power to backup light and make sure I hook up the reverse wire in radio harness. Looked under dash and will probably use the parking brake grommet.

I put a back up camera in my escape and If I were to do it again I would have a switch for it rather than using the backup lights for a power source, reason being is that sometimes you need to go forward than back again and as soon as you are out of reverse you lose the camera and it takes a moment for it to come on when you put it back in reverse. (at least on mine). Mildy annoying, Id just rather have a on/off switch myself. Something to consider.

I wired mine with power any time key is on. Then just let the head unit switch displays when you put trans in reverse.
