I need a new tailgate for my 2010 what years will fit? Thanks. Got a chance for NEW 2005 for $80 but says it will not fit?

Any year 1993-2010 will physically fit, only difference will be the holes for the ford emblem.

Also I have seen a 1st gen (83-88) tailgate on a 3rd gen bed... the body lines do not match up but it closed and latched lol

FYI, straight side and step side don't match, there is a 4" difference in width.
