2010 Ranger

The Ranchos are OPTIONAL on all models(XL, XLT, Sport). And standard on the payload pkg 2.

Full skid plates are only standard on Supercab 4x4. All the others are a limited availability thing.

There is no more Torsen. I don't even think there's any LS option anymore.....there's not one listed in the brochure or the 'build your truck' on the Ford site.

The only thing "FX4" that's still around(in the states) is the Ranchos and if you wanna consider it, the grille on the Sports since they axed the sought after "STX" grille that was on the 08-09 Sports. Fx4 is still around in Canada.....it's essencially a 4x4 Sport with Fx4 decals on the bedside.

You might want to call this dealer. He has worked with those wanting the new Mustangs and given really good deals

If you are refering to my post about buying way out in Washington, no problem. They do all the paperwork out there and the truck is delieverd to your local dealer. That's how they can sell cheaper, don't have to do all the pre-delievery prep work.

I bought a 2010 Ranger Sport 4.0L 6 2WD back in January? It's my first truck and I'm impressed (nothing to compare it to, but still impressed). At first I didn't really like the traction control because I found it was kicking in when I didn't want it to, even if it was turned off. But now I'm reading that its some kinda "roll stability" thing kicking in. But after doing some actual wheelin' with it I don't mind it, did not kick in all the time. The TC works amazing in the snow, when I got the truck (was also my first time driving RWD) there was snow a week later just left the TC on and didn't have a single problem.

I'm defiantly hooked on the Rangers :headbang:

And it's a $1500 joke.

White gauges, Y-spoke rims and ranchos.

Well I ordered my new 2010 XLT Supercab today. The sales manager said it should take 5-6 weeks to come in. He did a nationwide search and there were no stick shifts with a 4 cyl. in the color (Vista Blue) that I wanted out there. Everybody wants automatics I guess. I told him as long as your ordering it I want the 2.5L diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and he said you wish. I got a great price (X-plan) and $1500 rebate, plus 0% financing for 72 months.

The sales manager claims the Ranger is not dead that Detroit has told them it will be new for 2012, only time will tell.

Well just an update on my order, it's June 8, and the truck still has not been built yet. The regional manager assured me it will be built before production stops at the Twin Cities plant 7/22/10. The truck was ordered 4/12/10 and I'm still waiting for a build date.

I will not buy another Ranger unless Ford puts out a real 4 door like the Tacoma or the Nissan or even the GMC and Chevy compact trucks that are real 4 doors. You can buy the Ranger out of the country with the 4 doors, just not here in the USA!! What gives with that?? My next truck will be a compact 4 door, don't need a full size truck. Ford has lost a very good customer. I have had Rangers, Mustangs and Bronco II's that were very good trucks. But after I bought my 99 Ranger brand new and saw all the compact trucks that came out with the 4 doors I was so pissed off!!! I will keep my 99 since it still looks new and is still a great riding truck. Just The usual upkeep which is normal. But next summer I am buying another truck and it won't be a Ford!!!

Straycat

Isn't the Explorer Sport Trac pretty much a 4 door Ranger?
