I bought my second ranger yesterday . A brand new 2010 ranger s/c they said it's an 11 ? Who makes a lowering kit for it , I want a 3" drop in the front and 4" out back is djm the only one that makes a kit ?

Look up DJM suspension, they make either a 2/3 or a 4/5 kit

true......didn't think about that

it has coil springs . Does the 4/5 drop require notching the frame ?

you dont have to notch the rear for the 5", not saying you wont ever bottom out but it isnt required like a 7". if your really trying to go 3/4 you could run belltech drop coil upfront then flip kit and lift shackle out back, otherwise djm 4/5.

Thanks for the advice , the ford dealer is having a heck of a time finding anything . The fellow at the parts desk talked to bell tech and they said they don't do ranger lowering kits anymore , so I steered him towards the djm kit and hopefully they can get it ? does anybody have a picture of a new ranger with the 4/5 kit on it ? Will it make my truck impossible to drive ?

here a 2010 with a 4/5 on 18" Boss 338's

That is a nice truck ! what kind of clearance on the underside is left ?

is there any way to do a 3/4 drop on this year of truck ? My only other concerns are , will this cause tire wear at all ? and how is the ride ? I would really appreciate some feed back and on your experiences with the kits . This truck is my daily driver and I am afraid of messing it up .

I daily drive my truck and it 4/5'd. The ride is really comfortable. If you get a proper alignment you won't have any sort of tire wear issues.

cool thanks . I read somewhere that if you do a 4/5 , the driveshaft will hit the cab if you notch the frame ?

no need for a driveshaft notch or frame notch. A notch for the frame would help but it's not needed

Thanks for the info , I chickened out and went with the 2/3 . If it sits as low as yours did before you went 4/4 I will be happy with that . How did your truck handle with the 2/3 kit in it ? Also why does it seem the super cabs sit lower than a regular cab with the same kit in ?

it handled okay on a 2/3 it's better with the Polly bushings on the DJM Arms. Super cabs sit lower that standard cabs because there is more weight.
